Energy Assistance Program
Has an unforeseen financial hardship struck your family
Do you need assistance with your energy bills this season?
There are programs that can help.
H.E.A.T (Utah Home Energy Assistance Target Program)
H.E.A.T. is a federally funded energy assistance program that runs from November through March.
For Duchesne County, call 1-(435)-722-5218. For Uintah and Daggett Counties, call 1-(435)-781-2021.
Ute Indian Tribe LIHEAP Program
This is the same as H.E.A.T., but is designed for the Ute Indian Tribe.
Call 1-(435)-722-5141 for sign-up information.
Residential Energy Assistance Program (Through Moon Lake Electric)
If you qualify for H.E.A.T or the LIHEAP Program, you may be eligible to receive an additional $50 from Moon Lake Electric (depending upon available funding).
For more information, call 1-(435)-722-5432 or fill out an application at one of our offices.
Life Support Services
We strive to maintain the best possible service, with a minimum of outage time. However, occasional power outages, either planned or uncontrolled, do occur.
We keep a record of members who notify us that they are dependent on life support equipment, and it is important that this information be current and accurate.
If you or a member of your family depend on life support equipment, please call your nearest Moon Lake office to be sure we are aware of your situation.
