POWER OUTAGES INFO

When dealing with power outages, our goal is to get your power back on quickly and safely. To help our members we have assembled the following information.

We, at Moon Lake Electric, have a crew on call 24/7 for 365 days a year in each part of the area we serve to deal with unscheduled power outages. We strive for prompt response times to help keep your power on. To help us, we have several ways our members can report an outage. First, you can call our power outage line at 1-(435)-722-5400 and press 6. Our second option for reporting a power outage is through our new mobile app found in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play store. After you download the app entitled "MLEA", login to your account. You will see information regarding your accounts with Moon Lake Electric. You may then select the appropriate account. Next, click the drop down menu and select the "report an outage" submenu. Fill in the information and send it to us. This reports the information to our Outage Management System, which in turn helps us locate the source of the problem and get the power back on more quickly.

There are a few things that may help Moon Lake’s linemen restore power quicker during an outage. When reporting that your power is out please have the following information, if possible.
• THE NAME ON YOUR ACCOUNT
• POLE TAG # ON YOUR TRANSFORMER POLE OR YOUR UNDERGROUND TRANSFORMER # (EXAMPLE: R12345 OR UG1234)
• PHYSICAL ADDRESS
• PHONE NUMBER YOU CAN BE CONTACTED ON
• YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER
Having this information is helpful as it can help to narrow down the outage area. Also, please report if you see anything such as a fallen tree on the line or Moon Lake equipment that looks damaged. This may be the cause of the outage and will help the linemen to restore your power.
